last night felt like 'Waking from the Dead' to me. Having had, at most 2 hours uninterrupted sleep the night before, this Zombie went to the Aeros game expecting ...not much...after the sorry road trip.
Then it happened!
They won!!!
It also was an night of 'ALMOST'.
Nathan, "the Streak", Smith, almost had a hat trick;
Kassian almost had a second goal (his 3.this season); and just in case you all think he's quit being the 'bogeyman' of the Aeros after scoring these goals here's a sort of "101 for Hockeyfighters"...
Brandon "Bucky'"Buck almost had HIS first in an Aeros uniform;
Maxim"Ironman", Noreau, almost snapped even more pucks through more netting ;-);
Wade"Doobie" Dubielewicz almost had a shut out;
and almost could go on and on.
Emotionally drained we headed home - I posted something like 'Nicely done Guyz', and went out like a light as soon as head hit pillow :-D.
Waking to a sunny morning,refreshed.
Just watching the Marathon - am I ever ready for some serious rest! Just kidding...
And Monday is Puccini's Tosca dress rehearsal at HGO.. am soo looking forward to opera again!
