OH NO and other sour grapes..

Typically Olympian, what? Envy, revenge...Olympian Gods had them: Hera, Athena and Aphrodite.
Paris, Helen and finally Troy destroyed)!

Ohno hated in Korea! Being half Japanese and half American is a recipe for being hated in Korea.
Lysacek does not deserve the GOLD.

Sour Grapes :-)!

Per Plushenko: He, Lysacek, did not do a quad, never mind that his skating was superbly executed, followed his chosen music and showed true artistry. So men have to be macho jumpers to win!
Were it up to Plushenko

men skaters ought to forget about music, just get out there and jump!
Hey, maybe Tracy McGrady and his ilk ought to take a 'jump' at men's skating?
Jump they can, skate..weeelllll!
But that's not that important per Plushenko, JUMPING is the all! So say Plushenko and Putin.
Hockey has a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct!
Plushenko and perhaps a few others would be good candidates for that ...;-) what say you?
And what about PETA threatening the 'other' skater who likes fur! And what about his scoring, IMO, too low compared to others? He did the jumps and did them well, so per Plushenko he ought to have been on the podium! But, hey, he was not macho enough, eh? Is that it! Some prejudice showing up among the judges?

Just love to quote that famous Goetz Zitat (those of you who know your German, will immediately understand). And on to the next round of Olympic Games, the next crunch of sour grapes, the controversy since there is more speed skating to come, more ice skating to come, more hockey to come! More.. More.. More.

I've always liked Plushenko, but he gives a whole new meaning to the word "arrogance." I like him a whole lot less now. What a whiney little spoiled brat!!! Lysocek's performances were PERFECT and he deserves the Gold! And IMO, Weir, who was in flame, er, uh, fine form, deserved a medal as well.

I'm glad Lysacek won too--his technique seemed better to me. I agree Weir should have rated higher; I think that may have been the best I've ever seen him skate. I manage to see a lot of men's ice skating lately.
Plushenko looked plenty put out during the medal ceremony, what a crybaby!
But it is about more than the jumps; it's how you put all parts together and do it beautifully.

Gotta love that man! Lysacekians unite. His gentlemanly response to the Russians' sour grapes was A OK in my book!
Class shows on and OFF ice IMO!
