Hiatus Day..AHL Roster Deadline

photos below: Artandhockey
More from the sculpture garden at MFAH.

Petr Kalus, as Wild Nr. 23, did get to skate over 6 minutes at last night's game.
Alas, Wild lost.
Two more Wild skaters appear injured, will that mean that more Aeros are 'flying' NORTH?
Barry Brust to have surgery.
AND TO DAY, by 3 PM IS THE DAY WHEN AHL TEAMS HAVE TO SUBMIT THEIR 22 PLAYERS PLAY OFF ROSTER.
Wondering who will be added or subtracted to the Aeros roster?
Only a SIX Veterans are allowed TO DRESS , per AHL rule
Nothing scheduled, just relaxing...with music and books?
Just finished another one by Boris Akunin "Winter Queen" which chronologically ought to have been read before "Murder on the Leviathan". Akunin-penname of G. Chkhartishvili, born 1956 in Georgia, writes mysteries set in 19th century Russia, etc. featuring Erast Fandorin as the 'detective'.
They are a good read, interesting to history and mystery buffs alike, with good dialogue, old fashioned manners, twisted plots, and well translated from the Russian by Andrew Bromfield. There are several more for me to read, now that I have discovered Akunin! Bring them on....
Tenor Placido Domingo underwent surgery to have cancerous polyp removed.
And so it goes.
