Of old make new ...

No, no need to raze old buildings, just renovate and
make them a place ONE would want to live!
As for example Gasometers in Vienna.

Exteriors

Interiors
These are four former gas tanks, each of 90,000 m³ storage capacity, built as part of the Vienna municipal gas works Gaswerk Simmering in 1896–1899. From then till 1984 they were used to store gas. Between 1969–1978, town gas was changed to natural gas and the meters were shut and gutted.Only the brick exterior front walls were preserved.
And NOW they serve as unique apartment homes, market places and entertainment centers. Restaurant at night!
I, for one, would love to inhabit one. apartment there ;-).

In the USA some gasometers were erected in St. Louis by the Laclede Gas Light Company in the early 1900s and were used until 2000. The last one was then abandoned in place. Several others are also now abandoned. Originally the name 'gazometer' was used by William Murdoch, the inventor of gas lighting, even amounts of gas flowing through a pipe.

On the AEROS front the building of the "new" team is on the way:

New Headcoach, New Equipment Manager ....
Daoust (The Scrapper), Kassian (The Kassassinator), Rau (-WOW), Bagnall, Peters and Prosser. The latest news are the re-signing of DiSalvatore (Speedy) and Fraser (Sunny).
Khudobin (Dimples) has received an offer, but as yet it is not confirmed.
We also assume that Matt Hackett will goal tend here, while Darcy (Darcy Vader) will most likely still play in the juniors. We know that Noreau (Ironman) will be here for at least one more year per contract.
Others are RFAs and/or UFAs but as an anonymous commenter said recently 'one cannot build a team on RFAs.' More later.

If Khudobin wants to be number one, he should be looking about in Europe and for a lot more money.
