What bugs me...

well, it is official:  'No cola adjustment for Social Security recipients'. And that bugs me!

Aging is so hard to do already!

AND bugs in New York theaters - no, not Bugs Bunny -
Bedbugs that is.  Really!
Since usage of DTD has been outlawed the proliferation of 'bugs' has become apparent world wide.

Even de luxe hotels are not immune.
"Daddy, what have you brought me back from your trip"?  What a 'present', huh?

Those critters hide and proliferate within mattresses, box springs, bed frames, nightstands, curtains, couches, behind baseboards, carpet edges, door, window frames, picture frames, peeling paint and wallpaper.

So, reinstalling wooden benches in theaters will probably not be very useful, and may keep patrons from attending...who wants sore bottoms while at the opera, theater sports events?
"Bedbugs can survive a wide range of temperatures and atmospheric compositions. Below 16.1 °C (61.0 °F), adults enter semi-hibernation and can survive longer. Bedbugs can survive for at least five days at −10 °C (14.0 °F) but will die after 15 minutes of exposure to −32 °C (−26 °F). They can survive low humidity and a 35–40 °C range even with loss of one-third of body weight; earlier life stages are more susceptible to drying out than later ones. The thermal death point for C. lectularius is high: 45 °C (113 °F), and all stages of life are killed by 7 minutes of exposure to 46 °C (115).Bedbugs apparently cannot survive high concentrations of carbon dioxide for very long; exposure to nearly-pure nitrogen atmospheres, however, appears to have relatively little effect even after 72 hours".

So maybe having las cucarachas is a good thing since they eat bedbugs...duh!

What does not 'bug' me this lovely morning :
Only 1 1/2 more days to AEROS hockey :-)!
And the Wild won last night!
Enough said!
