Re: My Name is NOT Sybil..

And the word is out that ..

I had mentioned in that post, that I liked JONAS JUNLAND (wished for, not that the Wild would've made an offer ?) maybe this will jog your memories of him as Peoria Riverman (affiliated with St. Louis Blues)

But just found out that he signed in Sweden! Though the Blues offered him a $ 500,000 one way contract. To have him return to the Blues, they would have to pay $ 200,000 to the Swedish team for his release.

Will try keeping you all "up to snuff".. which, according to the original use of the phrase, means 'sharp and in the know' going back to 1811 or earlier when it was fashionable and expensive to inhale 'tobacco', kept in elaborate snuff-boxes, perceived to stimulate the mind!

A little factoid - you really wanted to know, right ;-)!
Lately though it has come to signify "up to the required standard", or "up to scratch"- maybe this is a better phrase in connection with an ice hockey player ;-) !
