The lonely seasons are upon us---soon

Soon it will be all over. The regular seasons in Hockey and Opera will end. Whereas Hockey will not "heat up" again till the fall,
Opera will continue to be performed in various summer festivals around the world.
The most famous are of course:
The Salzburg Festival, just one of the venues.
Bayreuth dedicated to Wagner ONLY.
Bregenz Festival
opera on the lake (literally.. the stage is built ON it!)
Santa Fethunder over the house
(Former and current HGO Studio artists perform this summer),
Verona
once gladiators fought here, now singers do battle:-)!
Glyndebourne
so very, very British, tea and crumpets at least on the lawns ;-)!
Aspenmusic in the 'mountains'!
Utah, Charleston, Ravinia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ft. Worth,
Chautauqua (BTW one performance of NORMA only
with Soprano Barbara Quintiliani-my former buddy)..and many more.
There always is an opera on stage somewhere ...
Hockey, on the other hand, one would have to scour YouTube
(do overlook the grammatical goof in the title-or perhaps this was done on purpose - LOL ) for clips of 'Hockey past, present' and -well not exactly - 'future' and revisit hockey movies and hockey literature to hold off withdrawal symptoms..LOL.
