About Me

My photo
Split personality. Liking the arts, especially opera, and hockey and Los Toros. I know, I know THAT one is non pc currently. But I can't help it saw some in Spain and got hooked, but good. But on the other hand right now opera and hockey are in the forefront!

Then they loaned him (and Kaip) to Bakersfield Condors.
Where he has 4 goals in 7 games played so far.
Almond and Gillies and Kassian returned from the rarefied air of the North.

In Abbotsford, tonight, per THE VOICE, Hackett is in goal.Almond scored the first goal on a Powerplay in the 1. period, and Daoust the second also on a PP in the 2. period, both with  helpers by DiSalvatore and Scandella! The Heat's Nemisz scored their first goal, also a PP goal, in the 2!
We are now in the 2.intermission and are awaiting the third period,
traditionally a somewhat slow period for the Aeros.

While I wait, I just mention  some things...
NHL teams tweeters, opera ytweeters and sundry "others" (let them remain unmentioned)
want to follow artandhockey on Twitter. Why?
I have not been tweeting for some time now.
Readers may remember the 'divorce' :-)  from Twitter last year.
I did try it again for a few minutes a few weeks ago when the Aeros were playing away,
but ..well, found it somewhat dissatisfying.
Really ought to cancel the account for good!
But I do go on it occasionally to read what's happening elsewhere,
but...well, again it is not a satisfying experience.
When one is NOT tweeting 24/7 one looses track of .. what was it already?

Still waiting so here is a rather interesting Reggae singer - Hasid Matisyahu with "Chop 'em down"!
And the Aeros are 2 and 2 -
in the last few seconds of the 3. The Heat got 'hot' and scored (Bancks).
"The curse of the third struck again"!
Heat increased the shots on goal in the 3. to 15 vs Aeros 6.
So now we are into OT.  No score in OT. Hackett total stops 29 in regulation.
Irving stops  25.
All Three Stars of the Game are Heat!
And tomorrow at 9 Pm Heat and Aeros battle once more!
Now to a sudden death shoot out!
Heat win 3-2 in the Shoot Out.
