First: each and everyone of the guyz DO put out great efforts, they work hard, they seemingly skate on pure adrenalin for...how long can they keep THAT up without collapsing. They have had to contend with injuries to some of the best players on the team, they have to bring in newbies who will need some seasoning before they can really be effective (miracles may occur!)
Ross Rouleau (Roulez les bons temps?)
BUT...Judging from comments read elsewhere, and overheard during and after the game, the facts are thus: fans are discouraged, fans feel put upon, fans do not like the less than stellar performances. Fans cannot understand why all this enormous frantic activity (and in truth, they are working frantically) on ice does not, can not, produce better results.

We have been told at various times: the team is working on..power play, second period activity, defense, offense, goal tending re rebounds, passing, staying calm and not be drawn into fights resulting in penalties...although THAT part they do supremely well - penalty killing!
So they get ONE point for playing Overtime, even if loosing.
In the race for a play-off spot this division the teams are pretty evenly seated.
And with Texas Stars having a bad stretch,
the Rampage slowly and painstakingly trying to catch up....the race will be murder!
And it seems rather obvious: the attendance (actual bottoms in seats) on a Sunday afternoon, yet, was abysmal. ONLY hard core AEROS fans will endure, will continue to root for the team, que sera, sera!
GO AEROS!
