According to Hockey wilderness Blog:
Fletcher signed Shane Hnidy to a one year $ 750,000. contract.
As noted by Wild Road Tripper : apparently Kurtis Foster and others did not get a contract, freeing up funds. and "that Camp takes place next week culminating with a scrimmage game next Sunday, 12:30 PM, at Xcel Energy Center; scrimmage -only- open to the public; Gate 1 opens at 12 noon) as the coaching staff gets its' first good look at the 'fresh meat' drafted players (in most cases) which will, in part, re-stock the Houston Aeros (after a number of Aeros' players with Wild contracts were either not renewed or not tendered qualifying offers)". More to come soon.

The new Wild management team is pursuing a very flexible approach toward building its 2009-2010 roster, while laying the foundation for putting together a (long-term) perennial playoff contender over the next 2-3 seasons. The Wild roster will be completely restructured (with the exception of the goalie and one or two ohers) to achieve this goal.
I wished you liked soccer instead of hockey
Anonymous- Growing up in Europe where soccer IS the game, after winter sports, like Skiing, Skijump, Nordic Biathlon, Skating...I do watch soccer, but it is NOT as much of a passion as are opera, the arts, hockey and Los Toros.
And if you are refering to Houston's Dynamo...they are a good team and will only get better.
But give Icehockey a try-you just might get hooked on hockey ;) .
Watch the DVD MIRACLE based on the REAL TRUE event in 1980 when Team USA (all college skaters and amateurs, not a single professional hockey player in sight, as now on those teams) won the GOLD over the considered 'unbeatable' Russian team. And DO watch all the bonus features.. it will truly astound you. Enjoy!
