Naw, he's been moved up North to pinch hit for a 'charley horsed' Cal Clutterbuck. Hope that this is his lucky time! Kalus, IMO, is one of the faster and very powerful skaters, vide his nickname ... get out of his way when he rushes down the ice.. nothing can stop this big guy!
On the Opera front, I am happy to see a report that a friend, soprano Ying Huang has created the role of Madame White Snake
with passion and intensity (World Premiere) in the same named opera by Zhou Long with libretto by Cerise Lim Jacobs at Boston. In the role of her servant, partly female human (green snake) was male soprano (yes, that's his 'fach', and his alone, not a countertenor) Michael Maniaci.. 
with his eerie and high sounds. Below a taste of Composer's Zhou Long's Chinese style music! Enjoy!Alas, no clips of the NEW opera are available at the moment.
