Bad Joss, or what?

Rockford Icehogs,
barely manage to get the win tonight.
Aeros got on the board with "Avalanche" Kalus in 1.
and "The Falker" Falk (vastly improved over last year!) in 2.
But Icehogs catch up in third. It goes into a ' no goal' OT and then, again, into a Shoot Out which the Hogs win.
From 'The Voice of the Aeros' report to which we tuned in at the start of SO, it seemed really bad luck for the Aeros skaters. SIGH. To work so hard only to see it fizzle away, again...that must be devastating for the guyz.
I have to admit that the guyz seem to keep the momentum going more consistently than BH (Before Hrkac- or maybe it just seems that way) and so, while a play off spot is out of reach, we may be lucky to move out of the seventh and ahead of Peoria. The Rampage are 'rampaging wildly' ahead with the return to the ice of Spina and the, not too far back, addition of Sharp, and the change in coaches probably HAS had something to do with it, as well.
Just out of curiosity, I looked at the PIMs for all Western Division teams Wolves, Stars and Admirals all have distinctly lower numbers for about same number of games played. That seems to indicate these teams played smarter and/or the referees were more indulgent ;-). Icehogs are 4-5 games ahead of the three, so adjusting their PIM down, to be at level of same number of games played , still gives them at least 1190 to now which IS higher than Rampage, Peoria and Aeros.
Now the guyz have 5 days of rest...hopefully NOT rust ;-)! And to help them keep flexible and on their skates..a little MARX ;-)
Then they face the Admirals, back to back, Saturday and Sunday,
with the Sunday game starting early at 3:05 instead of the normal 4:05 PM.
