"Matt Beaudoin, the team’s leading scorer and tied for fifth in the league, is out with a broken foot suffered on the first shift of Friday’s game" (the one here at the TC).
So, we did see him skate in the warm ups, and part of the First period, then no more!
As originally posted. Wonder who and how caused this injury?
That really is a big misfortune for him, as we felt he truly was on his way to another record season to date.
Darn, there goes his chance for the AHL All Stars Game, for which we thought to nominate him.
Don't you just HATE injuries?
A healthy Nr. 26 |
and showed it by their inconsistent play that night here.

This is one of the great tragedies of the 2010-11 Season, thus far.
Matt Beaudoin has done everything anybody could ask (Aeros, Stars, and now the Rampage) in working his way "up the ladder of hockey recognition" and deserves much better than to be sidelined in his rise to the next level. Hopefully, Mr. Beaudoin can return to play at least the last 20 games of the regular season and morph to pre-injury form by the commencement of the Calder Playoffs (in which the Rampage should be an odds-on favorite to reach the Final Series).
Go Aeros!
