Mc Reynolds and Spicewood.
One better keep the tasting to a minimum or one's cars just may take flight when cresting a hill after snaky curves and whooping down a steep grade!
What fun, except of course if some other car (tipsy or sober) comes at you from below the crest...
oops. better scoot over to the edge and let him/her pass!
Plus its free ranging cattle and other mammals country.. just cattle guards, few fences and (fortunately cattle settled in the hay and munching)
And I would not want to drive those in rain or sleet or at night!
But what views! Spectacular...even with the current water starved brown fields.
Fortunate for us we did not encounter these, just a few squirrels and hedgehogs running for cover as we drove the winding narrow roads-so no sudden stops to let a cow or deer pass.

How much more enjoyable would this drive be in the fullness of Spring blooming.
