The Might of The Media

Reading about events world wide this morning it struck me, again,
that THE MEDIA is much to blame for causing negative (over)reactions.
While it IS admirable that they report on all things, it is less so, at least to me,
that they report it seemingly with Schadenfreude or worse.
And reading comments following any report...this feeling strengthens..
Grammar, what grammar?
Spelling, what spelling?
No, I do not believe that all is due to typos.
I realize of course, some typos are inevitable when using those minuscule keys on cell phones,
while driving even!
I don't know why this bothers me so much, today of all days.
'My cup runneth over' effect- I guess.
Feel free to chime in with your pet peeve(s) if you wish.
