Especially for Hockey fans.
This sure seems to be THE year for sad news....Man made and natural disasters.
Personal tragedies for friends, mere aquaintances and famous personages
(composer Daniel Catan, found dead in his apartment in AUSTIN recently). And many others.
And now the sad news about Derek Boogaard, also was found dead in his home in Minnesota.
He was only 28 years old!
An Autopsy will be performed to find the cause as yet unknown.

Of course most knew him/of him as an Enforcer who intimitated by his sheer size,
and his will to stick up for his team mates. Which pleased many fans of hockey.
Those especially who go to the games to see fights!
Not so much those who prefer watching skilled hockey.
But players like Boogaard did have their places in hockey,
more so earlier than now with all the new regulations and rules!
And so R.I.P. Derek Boogaard-you are remembered ...
